Felt warmly welcomed from the minute we drove up- the team at Margaritaville is amazing. The rooms are very nicely appointed, we only got the standard king suite and that was so great! Had a living area, along with a dining area, a wet bar, 65 inch TVs in living room and in the bedroom. Loved the double sink faucets - they were Fins!! (Fins to the left and to the right!), the comforters had parrots woven into the textile. It’s the little touches! The decor is lovely- fresh orchids and birds of paradise in the lobby. The pool area was good- albeit crowded with kids. Adult time is 10-12pm - I don’t know if that is enforced as I was not there past 10 pm…but they should if they aren’t (sorry kids!) The pool is heated and there is a spa. The workout room had treadmills and a cable workout set up. No free weights yet, I think those are coming. 65 inch TV in the workout room too! We had drinks outside at Landshark Bar and Grill, there were fire pits and live DJ music. Very relaxing and enjoyable and such friendly service. Communication with the hotel before, during and after our stay was great too. Oh and for skiers like me- complimentary ski valet is the bomb!! The parking is $29 a day FYI, not bad for Tahoe! I greatly enjoyed my stay- this place is well managed, the grand opening was well-executed. I’ll be back!!!

We had a premium king room and it was well appointed clean updated. The facilities itself are a little dated and the teal just makes it look cheap. I realize it's one of their predominant colors in their branding, but they should've went with a more royal blue or a lighter blue that they use throughout the facility it just made it feel cheap And a little dirty and it wasn't. It was very clean. There were a lot of hidden fees I booked and it said all taxes and fees were included, but it ended up being another $92 so it really wasn't a good value and I would not have booked. Had I not had to pay $92 in additional taxes and fees that did not include the deposit at $75 at night that they don't tell you about until you check in

I was pleased from the moment I stepped off of my shuttle bus from Reno. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. They helped me locate a nice place to eat while I waited for the room to be available. I was a tad early so I had to wait until 1 to check in. It was cool because they were a fun group to chat with. The breakfast was amazing. Friendly staff, clean eating area, and lots of variety to choose from to eat. The swimming pool was nice and friendly. Restaurants on the ground floor as well as a Super Cool Bar downstairs that was showing the NFL playoff games, The room was roomy and clean, and the view was excellent. I will be traveling here again in the future and I would suggest this place to anyone.

Updated: We recently had an issue during our stay, but we're very impressed with how the general manager handled it. He personally called us, apologized for the inconvenience, and walked us through the steps they took to prevent the problem from happening again. We're fully satisfied with his response, which is why we've changed our rating from 1 to 10. Great service is all about the team, and the senior management at Margaritaville Resorts truly stepped up to address our problem. Thanks to the general manager’s efforts, we look forward to staying at Margaritaville Resorts again. We truly appreciate general manager's excellent service!

Whether you're looking to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake or indulge in the local dining and entertainment options, this resort offers the perfect base for your Tahoe adventures. My wife and I particularly loved the Fins Up restaurant located on the property. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere added to our overall wonderful experience.
